Day to Day
You wake up in the morning but it's dark outside
Turn on the radio and listen to the music
Take another drink of tea but you're still tired
You wonder why you feel as though you're missing something.
You do the same as you did just the day before
And you know you're gonna do the same tomorrow
You hope someone someday will open up a door
But you can't see an end to your eternal sorrow.
Every day is just the same routine
Like a film that you've already seen
In your mind you've got to break away
Break free from the endless day today.
Grass is always greener on the other side
Thinking 'bout if I could, what I would have done
And if I had the courage to live with my pride
The dreams lost in everything would come undone.
Every day is just the same routine
Like a film that you've already seen
In your mind you've got to break away
Break free from the endless day today.
You wake up in the morning but it's dark outside
Turn on the radio and listen to the music (listen to the music)
Take another drink of tea but you're still tired
You wonder why you feel as though you're missing something.
