In Your Hands

Everybody wants to give you something

"Come and get it, here it is" they say, "the offer's open today"

You'll never get another chance like this one

One in a million is what you're gonna find, so hurry make up your mind.

But if you turn it down, you've got to walk around

You'll see nobody there, nobody anywhere.

Everybody wants something for nothing

You'd better get it however hard you try, and that you'd better rely

That if you do your best you've gotta pass the test

And then you'll understand...your life is in your hands.

When will you learn you can't stand alone?

You need somebody else to lean on

Just look around, see through their smile

You won't be the first one to say no.

Everybody's running round in circles, trying to find the best thing they can do

They daredn't think about you

Or maybe they'll turn round and see the answer as large as life right there staring them in the face

They've got to slow down the pace.

And if they do their best then they will pass the test

And they'll understand...their life is in their hands.

In your hands

In your hands

In your hands

In your hands

In your hands

In your hands

In your hands.
