THE CD ALBUM RELEASE WILL BE AVAILABLE TO ORDER BY MAIL ORDER FROM THE DETOUR RECORDS WEBSITE http://www.detour-records.co.uk/detour.htm AND OTHER WAYS TO BUY IT ARE THERE ALSO.

The Gents' first vinyl album How it all Began will be released on the CD format for the first time ever, on Monday 17 October 2011.  And not before time!!!

To the left you will see the 'remastered' front cover of the CD album.  Hopefully you will be able to notice from this relatively poor reproduction that the main difference is that that goddamn awful hand drawn lettering has been well, let's just say 'tidied up', whilst trying to retain the main ambience of the original design.  I hope you agree that it looks a lot better.  The 'How it all Began' lettering at the bottom has also been swap-fonted (I think I just made that word up!) to make it look what I think is better too.  If you click on the album cover it will come up in a bigger size and hopefully easier to see.

The CD insert consists of a 12-page booklet with photographs and sleeve notes by my goodself, designed as part of a two-part sleeve note which is intended to be continued with the release of the second album on CD, the Waiting to be Seen album.

So, you'll be wanting to know the tracklisting, which is of course the original album, but in line with good CD re-release practice there are several bonus tracks included, which again will be continued with future releases and the intention is to try and include most if not all of the Gents' important songs on the bonus tracks schedule.
