The Faker b/w Le Pink Pantser - 1981

The first single, the debut - The double A-sided disc of The Faker/Le Pink Pantser as recorded in the Abbey Road sessions which was part of the prize for the Battle of the Bands win in 1981 and also the same versions that appeared on the cassette album release This Way to the Gents which in the end was the main product and output of winning Battle of the Bands.

I only managed to get hold of one because back in the dim and distant past Steve Kendell's mum found some in a box in her cupboard.  It's the only one of the Gents releases that didn't have a picture sleeve.  You just can't find 'em these days.  You do occasionally get the odd Schooldays appearing on eBay (but not with the picture cover), but these Faker/Pantsers just don't exist!  If you've got one then answers on a postcard.
