Mark briefly did lights with the band right at the end of the Gents' career when Paul Burton was doing the sound.  He was a mate of Steve Kendell's who I think he got to know through sharing the same house off Thorne Road.  I guess Dicko was asked to do lights to fill in when there was nobody else and he happened to be around at the time they jacked it all in.

The last time I saw him was around two years or so ago when me and Kendell stopped at a pub near Rotherham and he was propping up the bar talking to Paul Shane! (yes Ted Bovis off Hi-di-Hi), having spent much of the last twenty years as a car salesman...and there's not much else you need to know...
